Internships

The Internship is the “final exam” for the trainees. At this point in the program, they are matched to an employer site in order to utilize the skills they developed during their training.

  • Trained candidates eager to test their skills at NO COST to your company.

  • Communication with the company to ensure a smooth transition and to answer any question the employer may have.

  • Job coaching and consultation if needed.

Employer Expectations:

  • The employer will provide a simple job description, listing expectations of the intern.

  • The employer will provide important feedback to the intern and Training, Inc. regarding performance and attendance via the Training, Inc. feedback form.

  • The employer may provide a letter of recommendation for the intern for future employment opportunities.

  • If the intern has met or exceeded expectations, the employer may interview the intern for any permanent positions within the organization (if applicable).

  • Interns will be available for three weeks (8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.). The hours of the internship may vary to accommodate both employer and intern needs.
